Chef Training Program with Paid Internship
Target Audience:
Graduates with at least a junior high school education, aged 16-25.
English Requirements:
Basic English proficiency and listening skills.
Course Introduction:
Culinary arts is no longer just about cooking skills; it is now a scientific field that includes chemistry, physics, and nutrition. This program will take you beyond the kitchen, offering knowledge in food science, cooking techniques, and food management. Graduates can pursue careers in media, research, nutrition, education, or even manage global franchise businesses.
The culinary profession is one of the most dynamic and internationally mobile careers, with constant demand for professionals like executive chefs, food critics, and more across the globe.
Course Duration:
15 months (3 months English language enhancement, 6 months theoretical study in Western culinary management, and 6 months paid internship at hotels, resorts, clubs, or restaurants).
Tuition Fees: S$12,000
Internship Salary: S$600 – S$800/month
Certificate:
Upon passing the UK City & Guilds (C&G) Ptiman exam and completing the internship, students will be awarded a City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Culinary Arts.
